what does data channel index means Well Mohit in Bluetooth low Energy We have 40 channel : 37 Data Channel 3 Advertisement Channel Each Channel have a frequency on which it transmit and receive data. Each Data channel is assigned a Index ranging from 1 to 37. these number's are known as Data channel index. corresponding to each data channel index there is a frequency range on which data is transmitted or received

Can we change these numbers??

Well anamika Thanks for your interest in this topic !! i am not sure about advertising channel but yes we can change data channel according to our requirement. it is implementation specific For example in Texas Instrument Document they implemented only 15 channel each channel has bandwidth of 5 MHZ.

Well Mohit According to my understanding we can't do that. if we fixed channel index the frequency corresponding to them is fixed. Now in next connect if you used another channel index then frequency corresponding to that index is used !!
