The preamble has three application in BLE, 1> frequency synchronization 2> Symbol timing estimation and AGC. How is the preamble used for symbol timing estimation? Is symbol here referred as a packet??

Hello Gunjan, Symbol timing estimation is done by sampling the IF radio signal and digitizing at a sampling rate which is sixteen times the symbol rate. For more details on symbol timing estimation you can refer the link www.google.com/patents/US4941155Symbol here is not refered as packet .... |
